DECEATES was formed in Nice in 2019 out of a desire to create something raw, authentic, and uncompromising.

Standing at the crossroads of the four pillars of extreme metal (Thrash, Black, Death, Grind), their music blends brute force, dark aesthetics, crushing grooves, and razor-sharp sonorities that leave no room for indifference.

In 2025, the band released their debut album, “Rust, Blood and Ashes“, a record that fully embodies this sonic identity and marks a new step in the band’s evolution.

Their universe explores themes of the end times in its many forms: the fall of humanity and its ancestral flaws, the impossible quest for redemption, and the collapse of the illusions that have enslaved us for centuries.
